Nancy Meyer has a true passion for food. Her career began as a Home Economics teacher with a Master’s degree in clinical nutrition.
Her entrepreneurial spirit led to the establishment of The Ridgefield Food Company in 1985. The Connecticut retail shop provided take-home and full service catering to corporate and private clients.
After many successful years of catering, her food passion shifted to creating food for the camera. She completed food styling programs at The New School and the CIA. Her picture-perfect food can be seen in many books and print ads.
Nancy has also added restaurant consultant and food writer to her repertoire. She continues to nurture her food and travel passion by enjoying the New York area as well as the rest of world, with her husband Olaf. Together, they live in Bearsville with 24 chickens.
