Find Stanley on:
Stanley Fishman was very ill most of his life, with asthma and constant lung infections which turned into 'fatal' and 'irreversible' lung disease. When the doctors told him there was no hope, he gave up on them, and turned to alternate methods. Real food was the answer, and grassfed meat rebuilt the lungs that 'could not heal.' No current health problems, not one.
He ruined the first grassfed meat he cooked, and experimented with traditional methods until he learned how to cook it. Seeing a need, he wrote Tender Grassfed Meat, a cookbook that makes it easy to cook tender and delicious grassfed meat. He has also written Tender Grassfed Barbecue, a cookbook that adapts traditional barbecue methods to modern times. He is devoted to the real food movement and blogs about grassfed meat and other real food issues.
