A Closer Look at Farmigo
CNN Money recently ran a great video profile on farmigo.com.

CNN applauded farmigo’s creation of a better food system that gives farmers more money on the dollar (80 cents vs. 20 cents from a supermarket) and opens new avenues “connecting farmers directly to consumers.”
There’s a lot of attention directed at the local food space right now, like farmigo’s CEO Benzi Ronen says, “Today, the brand ‘local’ is now a stronger brand than ‘organic’.”
Ronen’s company is just another example of the fascinating landscape created by twenty-first century technology meeting up with pre-industrialized farming practices.
