We recently posted a story about a group of kids shopping with their HandPicked Market Bucks at the Rhinebeck Farmers’ Market in Rhinebeck, New York.

Everyone had such a terrific time and we were so pleased with the very positive response the story received, we decided to do it again – this time at the Woodstock Farm Fest in Woodstock, New York.

We gave each kid $10 worth of our ‘HandPicked Market Bucks’ and let them loose.

There were some surprises (watch for the little shopper who bought a smoked fish!), but most of the kids enjoyed at least one scoop of local “Cow to Cone” gelato from Lazy Crazy Acres.

We love to see kids using their innate curiosity to discover all the good things to be found at the farmers’ market.

Thanks to Steve Lewis for the lively market music.

Do you think it’s a good idea for kids to know about their local farmers market?
